randomslasher arrived safely, and she's even now editing the next part. It will be up this evening!To pass the time until then, and as a small apology, we have a poll for you! It's Changeling specific, and explores what you would want your own Change to be.
There's an option under each question of "other -- explain in comments." We want to know if you have ideas we haven't thought of! Keep in mind that all Changes retain human hands, face and torso, with the small additions of scales on the arms, horns on the head, etc. Other than that, go nuts! And even if you pick an option we already have in the poll, feel free to expand in comments. Give us specifics! Draw us pictures! Discuss with each other! Basically, have fun!

Date: 20 Mar 2007 02:58 (UTC)If I had wings, and they were feathered (not that I'd really care because wings?!? Come on) I would want them to look like the wings of a golden eagle or a cardinal or maybe some kind of tropical bird. I would love to have feathers scattered throughout my hair, especially if I was a golden eagle. Because that would be very pretty.
If I was a 'taur- oh gosh. I don't know if I could pick. A gryphon 'taur would be really awesome, but really unlikely. I pictured it as a lion's lower body with feathers by the torso, around the belly button, with small wings, like a cherub's- nonfuctional, but very pretty, those feathers matching the ones near my belly button. And I thought that maybe my eyes would change as well, becoming more green or maybe even golden. But if I wasn't I gryphon, I'd want to either be a wolf, a cat, a tiger, a sun bear, or a fox. A traditional 'taur (a horse) would be nice as well, but the others are my preferences. ^^
If I was a satyr, I would definitely want to be a fox. They're graceful, quick, sly, and very protective of their young- all things I happen to admire, especially in such a small animal. A big beautiful tail, fox ears replacing my human ones, maybe whiskers, gorgeous red-gold fur- I'd dye my hair to match if it didn't change by itself. And if I wasn't a fox, then maybe a deer or wolf would be pretty.
If I was a mer, I would want to be a seal. They're beautiful, graceful, and I'm pretty sure that fish mer don't eat fish and I was never one for vegetables of any kind, let alone seaweed (Well, Ariel and her family didn't seem to eat fish- just listen to "Under the Sea"). But if I couldn't be a seal, then I'd want to be a dolphin or a tropical fish mer. I've always liked dolphins and tropical fish are beautiful (well, most of them).
