Wow. That was fantastic. You know I don't read any fic in this fandom, and I'm sure you know why, but if I thought there was anything else like this out there, I'd change my mind. I love the universe, I just don't trust the fandom. ;)
One thing that's always bugged me about the movie is that the ending is pretty depressing. Yeah, Mimi and Roger get to be together again, but they're both sick with disease that, at that point, had a really high fatality rate. So realistically we can assume they're going to die.
But here you did just the opposite. You wrote about their deaths, all of them, and you made it, well, not happy, but peaceful, and with a satisfying sense of finality that the show certainly doesn't have.
Awesome job, hon. I totally don't have an appropriate icon for this, so you get Corbin and Lucas, in case there was any question who was giving you feedback. :)
