Wheee! We love getting people addicted. ;) And we actually started writing it just because we like wings, and it took over...We do try to keep it as grounded in reality as a fantasy story can be. I love magical realism, so that's what I was going for when I created this world.
And I'm sorry, I haven't seen the icon. I'll keep an eye out for it, though!
