Oh Perry you kill me. You finally get one thing right-realizing JD is an adult and your equal (I had hope when Perry didn't yell at him in fromt of everyone else) and you decide you are a burden. Please don't do something stupid because it will kill JD, and he really needs some happiness.
All the hints that Perry's change is different have me very nervous. I think Perry's fears are rubbing off on me.
I love seeing the world that is forming around them. I can see why that would take some extra time to work out. As much as I love each chapter, I'm fine with waiting because I know it will be worth it.
JD looked back at him, wings slumped. "Our subconscious minds suck," he said gravely, before climbing back on the bed and curling close against Perry, almost hoping the unicorn would show up again. Loved this! And the bonding over JD's family was wonderful.
